Profile: Which countries are most keen to go to the cinema?

Revenues from the top 10 theatrical markets continued to rise in 2018, largely driven by countries experiencing wider economic progress. People in these countries view going to the cinema as an aspirational activity and their enthusiasm for movies is being supported by improvements in theatrical infrastructure. One such country, China, will surpass the USA and become market leader in 2021 while other countries like Indian and Mexico will also rise up the theatrical market rankings.
