Dan Stevenson, Managing Director

Dan has spent the past 15 years in media and tech analysis with nine years as part of the management team at Screen Digest. He holds a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from University of York.

Guy Bisson, Research Director

Guy has 20 years of experience in media analysis and forecasting. He has a global reputation as a leading analyst for pay TV and multichannel. He was a member of the management board at Screen Digest and holds a PhD.

Ben Colbeck, Commercial Director

Ben has worked in sales within the media sector for over 15 years. His network and experience includes the media, technology, finance and advertising industries. Ben holds an MA from Edinburgh University.

Richard Broughton, Research Director

Richard has nearly a decade of experience in analysing the television industry. Richard led the teams at Screen Digest (latterly IHS) responsible for online video, connected devices and ISP coverage. He holds a first class degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge.

Ed Border, Research Director

Ed has spent the past eight years analysing the consumer electronics and video technology sectors. Ed graduated with a 1st class degree and masters in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.

Richard Cooper, Research Director

Richard Cooper has over 16 years’ experience within the home entertainment industry. Over that time he has worked across the retail, distribution and industry insight sectors; advising clients including the Hollywood Studios, regulators and investment firms, on the development of media and the home entertainment business.

Daniel Gadher, Senior Analyst

Daniel graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2012. After graduating he spent the next two years working to expand and develop the digital department at publisher Carlton Books.

Alex Donaldson, Director of Business Development

Alex has over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing. Focusing on media, tech and telecoms, he has worked at Screen Digest, IHS and BDO LLP. He holds a BA in French and Italian from The University of Birmingham.

Tony Maroulis, Research Manager

Tony leads the team focusing on financial analysis of the communications, TV and media market. He has 4 years of experience in mobile and mobile media, analyzing all aspects of the mobile industry. Tony holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Reading and speaks four languages.

Toby Holleran, Senior Analyst

Toby joined the Markets team in 2015 and holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Leicester. Before joining Ampere, he worked on the editorial team at a business intelligence publication and has experience in Mathematics education and PR. He is currently News Editor of Ampere's weekly newsletter, The Amp.

Andrew White, Senior Developer

Andrew holds a BSc in Physics from UCL. Post graduation, he worked in e-commerce; in data gathering and web development roles.

Silvia Presello, Analyst

Silvia has previously worked at a technology start-up and also as an intern at UNESCO. She holds an MSc in International Economics and Business Administration from University of Trieste and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy Studies. She speaks four languages.

Alex Varatharajah, Analyst

Alex joined Ampere in July 2016 as an Analyst. Prior to joining Ampere Alex studied for his PhD in Engineering at the University Of Leicester

Peter White, Analyst

Peter holds a BSc in Physics from UCL, and joined Ampere in 2016 as an Analyst.

Alexios Dimitropoulos, Analyst

Alexis has joined Ampere as an analyst in the Markets team. He holds a BSc/MSc in Agricultural Economics from the Agricultural University of Athens and an MSc in Food Economics and Marketing from the University of Reading. Prior to joining Ampere he worked as a GIS technician among other roles and he speaks three languages.

Hamish McGregor, Analyst

Hamish joined Ampere as an Analyst and holds a BSc in Mathematics from Newcastle University. Prior to joining he worked in PR and Retail.

Sarah Fisher, Analyst

Sarah completed a degree in Politics & International Relations at the University of Bristol. She joined the Ampere markets team in June 2017. She has previously worked as a professional photographer.

Lottie Towler, Analyst

Lottie graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Biochemistry, and joined Ampere as an Analyst in October 2017.

Andriy Stolyar, Developer

Andrew graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a BSc in Computer Science, and currently is on his way to the Masters degree in Analytics, and joined Ampere as a Developer in July 2017.

Alex Baranov, Developer

Alex is studying Computer Science at the Ukrainian National IT factory in Kiev, and joined Ampere as a Developer in July 2017.

Hannah Walsh, Analyst

Hannah holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Exeter, and joined Ampere as an Analyst in December 2017.

Rebecca Scholes, Operations Manager

Rebecca has worked in business operations for over 15 years, working in the media and architectural sectors. She holds a BA from The University of Birmingham.


Neil Bradford, Non-Exec Chairman

Neil's career has focused on founding and growing information businesses. Neil started his career at McKinsey, and then co-founded Fletcher Research, a technology information firm, which he sold to Forrester Research in 1999. He subsequently became President, Americas for Forrester Research in Boston, MA. Neil is currently CEO for Argus Media, an energy and commodities information firm.

Lucy Green, Non-Exec Director

Lucy Green is an experienced PR and marketing communications professional with more than 15 years' experience in the business information sector. Prior to founding her own firm, Greenfields Communications, a leading PR firm specialising in business information, Lucy managed the European PR and marketing operation at Nielsen//NetRatings.

William Reeve, Investor

William Reeve is CEO of, a UK online grocery business sourced from the best local shops. He is a serial entrepreneur who co-founded Fletcher Research (now NASDAQ:FORR) and He has served in a number of the leading internet business in the UK/Ireland as a founder, in an operating role, in a non-executive role, as an investor or sometimes a combination of the above.

John Sanderson, Investor

John is a strategy consultant, financier and company director, and a founder-director of Whetstone Group. He began his career working in the City in equity analysis in the leisure sector for Fielding Newson-Smith becoming a well-known and highly rated specialist in media stocks. He then joined the SRU Group as a director of Hydra Associates - the media sector specialist strategy and business development consultancy which SRU had set up.

Mark Smith, Non-Exec Director

Mark has over 25 years experience in the business intelligence sector, having been part of the original management buyout team with Screen Digest (now IHS Technology). Mark is also a director of several companies active in the creative and technology industries in mainland Europe. He has an MA from Cambridge University.
