Analysis of USA and UK TV show commissions in 2019 highlights the divergent content strategies of Linear and VoD players. Over the course of the year, Linear platforms focused more on cheaper-to-produce, unscripted content; while VoD providers produced more high-end, scripted fare, with a focus also on Reality content.
