Netflix this week announced that two thirds of its viewing is of TV shows. According to Ampere data, 64% of Netflix’s catalogue worldwide by duration is TV content (almost two thirds). In the US, TV shows represent nearly 73% of available hours. This suggests that the viewing of content reflects available catalogue.
Czech Republic has the highest proportion of TV shows, at 76%, while movie-heavy Norway has the lowest with TV representing just 48% of its available hours.
