The virtual MSO: Virtually changing the US TV market

The fast-growing VMSO market in the US will reach 3.5m subscribers by the end of 2017. Longer-term, the rapid growth of the VMSO market will help to offset the decline in traditional pay TV subscriptions. However, Ampere believes that there are challenges ahead, notably the high content acquisition costs and aggressive broadcaster demands.
